This trip starts at either 9h00 or 14h00 and lasts 4 hours. On the tour, we first take a boat to a small island called Caamaño Islet, better known as La Lobería, situated in Academy Bay facing the port of Puerto Ayora. We then follow the coast to Punta Estrada, where there is a small canal which is the home to families of white tip sharks. We then get off the boat to visit Las Grietas; a tranquil lagoon where the fresh water from the highlands pools and mixes with the salt water from the ocean. On this trip it is common to spot blue footed boobies, sea lions, frigate birds, marine turtles, white tip sharks, and many more.
